About The Queen Batch

Some people say it's an addiction. I say it's a way of life. Doesn't everyone bake cookies every other day (Or some times, everyday)? I'm not sure what the big deal is.

I've been baking cookies longer than I can remember. In high school, my best friends and I would come home on weekends and bake cookies...at midnight. I'd bring cookies to parties. I now come home from work and bake cookies. I bake cookies for every event there is. I think my kids' friends come over JUST for my cookies (at least that's what I like to think). It's my happy place. I prefer cookies to any other dessert there is.  But not just any cookies, I love homemade, right out of the oven, warm, perfect, make your eyes roll back, chocolate chip cookies.

Baking cookies is my vice. I can literally bake chocolate chip cookies BLINDFOLDED!  I love trying new recipes and being creative. When I eat a cookie, I want to enjoy it, taste the yumminess and savor it. I make them big! I make them gooey and I make them with LOVE.  Because really? Cookies just make me happy and they bring me JOY.

I've often been told that I should start a business. I've always been a frustrated entrepreneur. I've come up with so many business ideas that my son has stopped listening to me. The breaking point was when he said, " Mom, I don't want to hear anymore of your ideas until you actually start one." Welp! I guess that's what I needed. And thus, One Hot Batch was born!
